My notes has smth strange. The case analyst says s/he couldn't determine work period because employment letter didn't have an end date, therefore it's review required.

How can it have an end date if it says the person is STILL working??

Was your letter itself dated at the top?

Hi all, its been almost 10 months now since I have applied for PR for me and my wife but still didn’t get any decision. I am a CEC inland applicant. I called CIC and they informed my wife's eligibility, medical, criminality, background check has been passed but my background check remains. Its been like this since few months now. They also informed my file is with Winnipeg IOC. I ordered gcms notes more than 1.5 months now but didn't get it yet. I even contacted my local MP and they contacted CIC on my behalf but the information wasnt much helpful. Its the same info I get when I call CIC.

Any idea what else I can do to get a response? Anyone else experiencing such long delay (10 months or longer)?

Any luck yet?

Still no updates. Its been 13 months now. I called CIC to check. They keep on saying same thing that my background check is pending and its done by third party and they don’t have any update on that. They also mentioned it’s possible that for background check they reached to home country and reply from home country authority is taking long. I reviewed my gcms notes too. Nothing unusual on it.

Have not seen any movement on my file from this VO since OCT 2021
