as I have been refused F1 visa form home country Pakistan, now when I apply form canada, will it affect my case?karankullar said:My Grandparents and uncle are american citizens, I think that kind of can help you but can go against you as well. It all depends on your personal case. There was one question which was asked by the interviewer to me as well as 3 of my friends and that is: What are your plans in Canada? When you answer this question, let them know that you have long plans ahead of you in Canada and that should assure them that you won't stay in US as an illegal immigrant. And I guess having close family their increase the chances of you being an illegal immigrant but it acts in your favor if your family history of vising US has been good. I thin the bottom line is that be confident in the interview, let them know why you are interested in visiting, don't stammer and you will definitely be alright. It's all about a confident voice and a nice set of reason for visiting US.
US embassy refused me on the basis of finances. and also my uncles, aunts and cousins are staying there for ages they are US national.
