For your financials:
12 months' bank statements (not 6 months) + letter(s) from the bank managers stating customer account information, bank balance, etc. + your employment letter + 6 months salary slips + letter from HR/your manager confirming your current salary and job responsibilities + 2 years ITRs + proofs of financial investments (FDs, RDs, shares/mutual funds, etc)

You must also carry proof that you had CAD 8,000 in your bank account/liquid cash on the date you had applied for the TRV..... without borrowing from anyone.

For your relationship:
Marriage certificate + wedding and honeymoon photographs + emails/Skype logs/WhatsApp chats/phone call records + proofs of joint bank accounts/add-on credit cards/lease agreement in both names/proofs that she lived with you at the same address/joint FDs/any joint property ownership, etc

For her study program:
Apart from the documents you have mentioned, you can include evidence of her joining the new program

You must keep originals and photocopies neatly filed separately in two different folders

Hi Bryanna

I applied for Canada visitor visa for my Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law on 22 Jan 2017.
Passport Request Came for my Mother-In-Law on 17 Feb 2017.
But for my Father-In-Law Passport Request does not come yet.

My Mother-in-law sent passport for stamping today.
But i heard she wont get any visa stamping until my Father-In-Laws case is finalized.
Is it true, could you please provide me your thoughts on this condition.

In my friends case , passport request came for his mother-in-law and he sent passport but visa was not yet stamped because his father-In-Law case is not yet decided.
He is waiting for 2 months after sending his mother-in-laws passport for stamping

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

I got msg through myCIC on parents visa. it says, decision has been made to your application and requested passport.

We don’t have VAC office nearby as my parent live in remote village area. We have applied online.
Can we send passport to VAC office by postal mail? or it has to be in person only?

Thanks,

I applied to my super-visa for my parents online. Today I received passport request only for my mom with updated status of medical "passed" but didn't get a passport request for my dad (principal applicant). Do you know what could be an issue?

Thanks...

Could you please let me know what happened in your case.
Did your Mother got Visa before your Dads case finalized?

No, that's not true. There are cases of family applicants where some applicants get passport requests/visa stamping earlier than others

Got the passport submission request today. Took 17 days for their response.
Should we just take the passport and the passport request letter. Since the application was submitted online, do we need to take a printout of the application and physically sign on the paper?

Rabbit123,

you just need to give the passport and show the request letter u got from cic online. that should do, no need to print the application and submit it again.

congrats by the way.

Hello,

I had applied online on the CIC website for visitor visa on the 23rd of January. It has been a month and there is no update from them. I know a couple of friends who applied through VFS around the same time and have already got their Visa. (Should've done the same)

I would be visiting England on the 2nd of March, before I head to Canada. Can anyone advise whether I can submit my Passport in the VAC in London if and when they request the passport for stamping the Visa.

There is so much ambiguity regarding Visa applications. The worst part is that there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Would genuinely appreciate some help on this.

Thanks.

Hi Bryanna!!

I have seen u helping many applicant, hope u can find some time for my query too. I'm from india
I'm getting married to a Canadian citizen and after our marriage we are planning to apply for spousal sponsorship and then later on with trv.
I don't have any travel history and I'm working only from last year in India. As from my earning I can show around 3000 Cad. But I have other bank accounts with around 10000 Cad and property in my name ( all from family)to show family ties. And my husband will also be able to provide all notarised documents like he will take care of me. Do u think I stand a chance for approval? It's really worrying!

I want her to be here for our first wedding anniversary. What you guys think, is it going to approved or refused. I just filed those documents which they need on online visitor application. From my end only invitation letter.I filed this application on 8th Feb 2017.

Hi,

First, relax. Don't worry.

Your doing the right thing: First apply for a PR.... when the file is transferred to NDVO then apply for a TRV.

I suggest you save a bit more, do not borrow from anyone, your savings/bank balance must match your known sources of income. Property is an excellent tie.

It's not easy to guess the chances of being approved. However, when you're ready to apply then do post the documents/evidence which you will submit so that we can advise

Cheers

You can include photographs taken at the marriage registry i.e. with the marriage registrar + witnesses.

You can include certified copies of the marriage certificate + the 30 days notice which was posted before you got married

You must carry actual prints of these photos. You will not be allowed to take your cellphone nor your USB into the actual visa office as this is a high-security area. You will be asked to deposit these at the Security

@tim50

Do not courier their passports to the VAC.

If both your parents cannot travel to submit their passports in-person then either one parent can submit on behalf of the non-accompanying parent.... or you can authorize a representative to submit both their passports. S/he must carry authorization letter(s) + passport request letter(s) + VFS consent form/fees, etc

Follow the same process to collect the processed passports.... or check if Blue Dart Couriers delivers to your area/town
