I guess the visa office has not started the initial processing. Maybe that's why it's not showing up.

I suggest you check-recheck all the data you are entering again when you try to link it. Maybe there's a small mistake which you're making. BTW is it the same situation for your brother-in-law's app also?

Give it a couple of days. Hopefully you should be able to link it then. I think the visa office hasn't started processing their apps as yet

Hi All,
I have my PR status and currently residing in Toronto, Canada. I am planning to apply for TRV for my parents who are in India (mom n dad) (6 months).

If I want to apply for them from here, Can I apply for them online? If yes, do I need to create separate CIC account for both of them? Please share your ideas.

Hi there i applied online super visa from dubai even i uploaded my father medical upfront but i think they didn't received becz the file format doesn't match.now they requested for medical report in feb 2 2017 and asked to complete in 30days .....and we submitted medical form report which doctor provided to my father and we submitted in vfs canada office in dubai by person ....please brayana help me ....is it ok they will accept it and is it possible to approve my application after medical request applied online application...

You must send it through the MyCIC account. Check for the Action column>> Supporting Documents>> Document Name.... and upload it

hi brayana i tried many times in mycic but there showing its provided already there is no option to upload i did try many times even daily trying

I applied for my wife visitor visa again. I have her file in process for pr. I filed pr in October and AOR 2 in Nov 22. I applied visitor before as well but at that time i did not had her pr file. I want her to be here for our first wedding anniversary. What you guys think, is it going to approved or refused. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

Just follow these steps if you are using to link by application number
Just press space in city of birth. and leave it blank
at the bottom it ask for number of applicant put 2 or 3 and i think you will be ok.

They have applied as paper application and they don't have an application number....They have VFS tracking id, which doesn't work as application number...

And in visitor visa application , there is no any question like #number of applicants..It asks for expected date to enter & leave Canada as well as available fund in Canada dollar (same as which mentioned on forms)

"Number of applicants" will appear for family sponsorship applications, not for TRV apps.

Yes, Raj2014 will be able to link it./it is possible to link TRV apps. It's possible that the visa office has not yet entered the data into the system

Hi All,

I found this forum very helpful. That's why sharing my experience this may help others to understand processing times.

Applied for Visa online - 3rd January 2017
Passport Request - 25th January 2017
Passport submitted - 31st January in Hyderabad VFS.

We got one unique number from VFS while submitting , after that got blue dart tracking id.
Passport came back on - 7th February 2017 with multiple entry visa .


But here is the tricky thing,
From Blue Dart tracking ID we found that passport went to Bangalore from Hyderabad for stamping and came back from Bangalore itself.
But in Visa Place of Issue is written as Chandigarh ,i thought it would be Bangalore or Hyderabad.

Does anyone knows about this . Is it valid if Chandigarh is written in the Place of Issue although my passport went to Bangalore ?

Hi friends,
My sister has applied the TRV for my mother online from Canada on 25th Jan 2017. Yesterday on 8th Feb'17 we got a reply from CIC in our online account to provide the proof of relationship (Document proving relationship with inviter/family member i.e my sister). Can you pls guide what kind of proofs we can provide to visa office.
Proofs which are avaible with us are my sisters passport which is having my mothers name without surname.

Pls guide us to provide the solid documents to prove the relationship.
