Hi everyone,

I am new to this thread. I am about to apply for visitor visa for my mom. I am looking for some advice based on the experience of members here.

1. What is recommended to apply for visa...online or paper based? Is there any difference in timelines for processing?

2. My mom currently has 10 year US visa. She also had Canada tourist visa and super visa in the past (both expired). Does it enable her for expedited processing? I heard about CAN+ program. How to apply for visa under this program?

3. Any suggestions you would like to make for online visa application? Any points which can be beneficial to everyone applying online.

I had applied for my wife on july 28 as well. No updates from bangalore yet. I submitted paper application at vfs, ahmedabad. Let me know if you get any updates or hear anything about people who submitted before us. I saw someone from 19th july got passport dispatched.

Applied online on Aug 5th for my parents and got passport request on September 1st and passport submitted on Sep 1.
When i track the passport they say its processing in Bangalore.How long does it take to get back our passports with stamped visa.

I submitted my wife's passport at Mumbai on 31st August 2016.
Got from NDVO on 8th Sept 2016.

Bangalore VO, God only knows what's happenning.

I Applied for TRV (paper based) on 4th August but till date no reply. :'(
It still shows "being processed at banglore"

Applicants who applied on 22 july are still waiting. I applied on 28th july and still waiting. So you can't expect anything from Bangalore office any soon. Welcome to waiting line.

Yeh probably will have to wait some time more.
I just hoped to receive soon coz earlier I Applied on 4th April and got passport back on 6th may.. Result was not in our favour though..
Anyways please do update if any of them receive their application

Banglore visa office was closed Monday and Tuesday, hopefully will get to hear something today..
