Applied visitor visa for brother and mother

After that nothing change in status
Asked immigration office for update they said need more time to review for brother file when he will be done then make decision for mother file

So he would have applied separately from parent as he is not a dependant. Did he do that? If not that is why there may be a delay.
Forget about a visitor visa if you are from Pakistan. They make you wait 4 months minimum and then its a rejection.. its a complete nightmare.
Maybe if so many individuals didn’t use a visitor visa to claim asylum from certain countries approvals & wait times would be different

Statistics don’t lie
In that case, IRCC should be stricter with China, Nigeria, Mexio, India, Iran, Haiti, Turkey etc too. As the number of asylum claimant are higher from these countries than pakistan.

I applied for visitor visa from Pakistan on 23 September 2023
Biometric were done on 2 November
Application updated on 16 November
Since then my eligibility and background check are both in progress, no new update
And I am still waiting
Have sent web form 2 times too
Anyone else with same situation? Any approval or rejection?
