Hi there I need experts help
My parents have multiple entry visitor visa until oct 2017.
As their passports are going to expire in oct 2017 they applied for new passports.
Their old passports are suspended.
Do they need new visa on their new passports or the visa they have on their old passport is valid for then to enter to Canada in may 2017 ?
Please help

I can't speak for every country, but usually they will transfer the visa paper from the old passport to the new for you. Check your local countries passport guidelines or local passport authority to confirm.

For Canada, they need to bring their old passports with valid visas along with their new passports. That's all.

Hi I need help. My partner had multiple entry visa valid till july 2018. Does it mean first entry to canada can be on january 2018? Or it should be within 6 months from the time of the issuance of visa? Thank you.

He can enter Canada anytime after the visa was issued. However, if it states that the validity is July 2018, that means he can NOT enter AFTER July 2018.
