If LMIA is cancelled then work permit is cancelled as permit is tied to the job.

The employer can certainly decide the job is no longer needed.

In that case you would need to find a new employer willing to give you a job offer and approved LMIA so that you can apply for a new closed work permit. Even if the original work permit is issued, you won't be able to use it to work for a different employer.

Hi Everyone, My wife has received the Work Permit Approval Letter. She also applied to a visitor visa and paid it in same case (form IMM 5257), but we don't see any information regarding visa in her account. What should we do?
