My girlfriend came here on a working visa about a year ago. Her Visa has just recently expired at the end of January and has applied for a 6 month visitor visa. We have been living together since November and have documents and what not to prove it. I would like to sponsor her as a common law partner, but it seems her visitor visa will expire in June, which is about 5 months before we can actually declare a common law relationship of 1 year.
Is it ok to re apply for another 6 month visitor visa? We are a unsure of which path to take until the common law sponsorship application.
