Can some one please guide if we can change the status if we are on visit visa in Canada and how long it takes to change the status from visitor visa to student / Work Permit and does it require to go back to your country and apply or it will change inland .

To change to work permit.. quite challenging but possible. If your spouse is Canadian PR/ citizen you can apply for owp 4months.. but if you dont, you can apply for closed work permit like LMIA and will take around a year (my friend experienced this tru agency in Canada)
