Np!! My thinking is that they will try to clear the existing files as quickly they can but then they may experience delays in visa stamping and people who are submitting applications now may experience delays overall.

Please I need urgent help to understand how do i present the application for my mom who is visiting her sister and their family in canada and attend a small family gathering She has around 20K CAD in savings in her bank account . However her only source of financial support is her son who is working in uae . But all the money is from savings she has acquired on her own , via investments , selling house and purchasing new ones . All that . So do we mention she has a financial support in the checklist even though she will be paying for the own trip with her own savings. She also house on her name . Husband is retired project engineer.

You can show all of above as home country ties proof and apply.
Heyy what abt the financial aspect , can you please guide me for that too . Do i mention son’s employment certificate and all or just bank statements for my mom
You can explain that in your letter of explanation. Is your mom housewife or retired?

I would say skip explaining the part of her son taking care of the expenses as it does not matter. The main they wanna see is that she has enough money to support her trip and other expenses. And they won't ask for proof as of where that money is coming from. Is it a visitor visa or supervisa? If they are living together, then you can mention that she will be going back to her son at the end of this trip who takes care of her.
Its a visitor visa to see her sister in canada . Her family is staying back in pakistan .So I have just included a letter from son mentioning he takes care of expenses. That should suffice right?
Got my mom's supervisa approved Oct 23rd, passport already sent and under process at IRCC Delhi

We applied for a Visitor visa online on 29th September from India. Biometrics were done for previously refused applications.
GC shows eligibility and background in progress
Tracker shows page was updated on 13th October and eligibility shows Completed in Green color,
Still waiting for the update.
Is it going to be another refusal?

Eligibility is cleared means there is very less chances it will be refused but still wait for the final update.
