Is this for spouse or parent?

I also applied for TRV on same date Oct 10 for my spouse on the new portal. Biometrics already completed with old application via GC key. No update as yet. Eligibility check not started yet. Will keep you posted.
Even I applied for my spouse on October 10 through IRCC portal.

Just asking,
But how should we invest in tickets if we are not even certain we will have the visa? And even if we do have it, we can’t even know the month or even year in which they will send it.
Attaching the air ticket is NOT a requirement by IRCC, you can apply for visa without the ticket.

Okay great - @devsamas and @Kumar25 ... we are in the same boat... It's scary reading in some threads where spouse visit visas are being refused. Hope all of us get the approval soon.

Looking forward to update and other updates. Goodluck to all

I'm keeping my expectations low, the only reason I applied was because the recent processing times seems to be much faster than SOWP. So I thought of giving it a try.

I think you guys are right. All the spousal visas are the ones getting delayed. But don’t lose hope yet.

I hope you hear from them the soonest possible, since you're done with the timeline they gave. Will pray for us all

Same here, my only hope is because decisions are made quicker and approval rate for spousal TRV is better in new portal.
