Can ayone suggest what can be done in this case?

My parents submitted a visitor visa in August of 2022 and it has been almost 8 months with no process of application or status update!. They applied through GCkey and not the new portal ,,,,,,,do you think they should withdraw and reapply in the new portal? My graduation is coming up in June and I what to use that as the main reason for their visit for the new application.

Kindly help me know the best way forward.

They live in Ghana. Processing times say around 245 days but it’s more than that I’m sure

So within normal processing times. If they reapply, the start from the beginning.

Not necessarily. Everyone has different opinions on whether the new portal is faster. You can try but be expect the current processing times and if they get a response sooner then that is fantastic. It is your choice.
