How long have you been waiting for the visa to be approved? I have been waiting for almost 6 months now. Still no update after biometrics.

Hi @Naturgrl, I am also in the process of applying visa for my parents. My dad retired in June 2020 and my mother is a housewife. I am the only son and I live with my wife in Canada. We both are PR.
My dad has more than sufficient funds and investment in India but no property on his name. Our house is on my grandpa's name.
How can I show strong ties to India?
Also, should I go for Super Visa or Tourist Visa?
Any help is appreciated.

If you are eligible for a supervisa (you meet LICO and have the funds), then that is an option.

Investments, pension, money are ties and funds. State that they will only stay a certain period of time and leave.

For parent's visitor visa application, under which Document section should the PHAC approval and Letter of required support be uploaded.
Also, they don't have marriage certificate, what documents to upload in that section ?

For marriage certificate they can get an affidavit done
