What is the difference between a "single entry visa and a multiple entry visa) TRV?
is there a need for signature when applying online for in-laws from india
Why CIC website says we need to have a scanner and printer if applying online?

Applied for TRV visitor Visa for Wife. Applied on March 15 Online. Didnt Recieve any Communication/ Passport Request Yet. Please Comment on Online Application Processing time from india.

Applied TRV (purpose of visit "Family Visits") for my father on March 26, from Nepal (VO is Delhi). Received 2 emails immediately with "You have a message" and there were messages about "Transmission" and "Application submission". Again receive a message with "Update" but no update. I am not expecting anything, either rejection or passport request, before May from them.

Online.. though its 22, it may take 35-45 days in reality.

I am a citizen of Pakistan currently living in Germany with my husband(recently got married and moved to germany) . I want to visit my brother and sister in law living in Montreal and thus applied for a visitor visa but it got rejected. The reason mentioned is that i have not satisfied them that i would leave Canada at the end of my stay as a temporary resident and the factors considered are
travel history
immigration status in country of residence
Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
Employment prospects in country of residence
Current employment situation

I want to reapply now but i am confused why they have concerns about my employment (i am a housewife dependant on my husband and i mentioned t ) and how to reply them now.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, there is no need to reappeall. All you have to do is to re-apply and this time provide them a strong proof. I also got rejected from my first application.we almost have the same reason if refusal except for my employment situation. Provide a statement of acct, a valid residence permit in germany, a letter of invitation with very good reason of ur travel, etc.

if you are as a refuge in Germany then you might never get a visit visa to canada.

Hi ,

I have applied for a visitor visa online and i am awaiting a decision.Once i receive a request for sending passport , can I submit Passport in person at the Canada Consulate in NYC as opposed to mailing it out.

For future reference can i just submit my application in person at the consulate general in NY or is this process deprecated.

i applied for my dad visit visa to canada on 23rd march...today i got email that your application has been processed and the passport has been sent by blue dart...
We used paper application throught VFS global new delhi.

but no status of visa mentioned....any insight.

Hi Everyone

I have applied visitor visa for my mother (outside canada) online application on 29th March 2016, still there is no change in the status it just says its OPEN .. Can anyone help me by telling how long is the processing??
Because on cic it says it take only 13 days for online applications submitted outside canada .. really appreciate,Thanks!!
