Status - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.

Passed processing time but no updates till now. I sent a web form but they said they are prioritizing student and work permits. Is anyone else in the same boat? Ty

Edit - I applied on GCKey as I was unaware of the new portal. Does that change anything? Should I make an account in the new portal?

Nope , moving to new website will not make any difference

I've applied for TRV for my minor child from Russia on 31 March 2022. No updates, still waiting

Using immigration lawyer from Canada
Visa is being processed at Warsaw VO

Tried reaching out to VO, got generic reply that "background/verification" checks are in progress. Status for "background check" is in progress for almost 3 months now.

Processing time for my country on website is 12 days (4 May) -> 14 days -> 17 days (17 May) -> 19 days (24 May) -> 23 days (1 June) -> 30 days (8 June) -> 34 days (15 June)-> to be continued …
Conclusion: This means if you apply today, you may not wait as long as the processing time shown above. (Canada’s immigration backlog jumps to 2.4 million persons)

65 days completed. Still no reply.

hopeful22, did you ask your lawyer about the backlog? What did she/he say?
I feel orphaned in this situation. Do you know any social media communities that unite people like us?
