All new portal files are mostly handled in Ottawa although if you call IRCC they will tell it is with India. Completely misleading [ saying this from personal exp with visas on the new portal for my family]

You can raise a webform but no way to expedite. Just have to wait and count on luck.

what is the total processing time for Visitor Visa applications from India these days? Does the VAC contacts the applicant on its own for Biometrics?

I don't think they process online (new portal) applications in Sri Lanka. Like many members here say they process them in Ottawa.

Got PPR today for my mother in law she no previous travel history

Application was filled on June 20th
biometrics completed on June 24th
PPR - Aug 4th
