Can someone give me these information
I want to apply for visitor visa for my mother in law.
(a) what is the duration of Multiple Entry Visas that will be issued in NEW DELHI VISA OFFICE?
(b) How long are the processing times in NEW DELHI VISA OFFICE
(c) can i show my bank balance stating I will sponsor her trip? Does she need to show her bank balance?

Hi

a) If its going to be her first time then i will suggest you not to apply for multiple entry visa. As there are less chances for first timers for multiple entry TRV.

b) They say 1 week but it generally takes 3-5 working days at new delhi.

c) Yes, you must provide a invitation letter in which you should mention that you will sponsor her, and must show your bank statement.
And as she is your inlaw, you must also show your wife's doc's which shows she is your wife's mom.

what is the duration Multiple Entry visa will be issued?
If we get the visa now, can she come to canada after 5 months? is there an expiry date for the visa within which she has to come to canada?
Do they stamp at the port of entry the duration the visa is going to be issued?
