Hi there. Thanks in advance to those who will be helping. My sister is currently on a visit visa here in BC and finally received her passport request for visa stamping on her study permit application. She is from the Philippines and applied online for the visa. We submitted the passport for visa stamping in Ottawa but are not sure what to do once we received the student visa. I am aware that the study permit is given at the point of entry but she is already inside Canada. I have heard experiences of others who went to the airport and just go to the border security to get the permit or flagpole. Flagpoling is our least option as we don't want a record of entry denial to the US as she will apply for a US visitor visa in the future. Please advise if you have any experience. Appreciate much!
