Just curious to know, have you applied for Spousal PR before your visitor visa? Because I see people saying that spousal Visitor mostly get rejected if you plan to apply for PR or if you have applied for PR. What would be a good reason to state in invitation letter?Thank you!

I read that most of the spouse visitor visas are rejected but saw few getting approved. Mine was a different scenario. I live and work in the US. PR holder since more than two years but didn't move to Canada. Got a job offer in Canada and initially applied for spouse visitor visa. Now in Canada and applied for Spousal PR outland.Just curious to know, have you applied for Spousal PR before your visitor visa? I wrote the invitation letter for my wife stating both of us want to visit Canada for tourism purposes. Didn't expect a PPR.
Congratulations. When did you apply and was it on the new portal or GC Key ?Hey,
I applied my visitor visa and now they are requesting my original passport. I emailed VFS and made the payment for passport submission. But they gave me incorrect labels with incorrect address. I made a request to update the address but they are sending me a new invoice. What should I do?
I applied through new IRCC portalCongratulations. When did you apply and was it on the new portal or GC Key ?
You got the TRV because they actually believe you are visiting Canada and are planning on returning to your US employment.I read that most of the spouse visitor visas are rejected but saw few getting approved. It was rejected because you are PR so should be sponsoring your spouse. You need to be living in Canada to do so. You can’t write an invitation letter if you aren’t living in Canada. For her to be approved for a visitor visa - strong ties to home country (job, property), travel history, funds etc.Hi,
Congrats on your visa approval.
I am in the same boat, Me and my spouse live in USA and I have PR. I have applied for my wife's visit visa but it was rejected - I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada.
I am on work visa and my wife has dependent visa in US, I have my job in US but still it got rejected.
Can you please share the invitation letter you drafted for your application I want to understand what point I cover.
