These are always estimates. Would not count on all applications being processed within 60 days. Applications aren’t taking 1+ years but wouldn’t be unusual for it to take a few weeks to multiple months.

I guess the purpose of the tracker is to see status of your application. So if you are already seeing status through other source, not sure if u need to login at tracker.
Hello everyone, i applied for visit visa in July 2022. In tracker i can see visitor visa document number, expiry date since April 19th.

Friends, is it common to see BG check to go in progress first and then eligibility....and then both stay in progress for how long?
can you share your timeline ? can you share on what date your background check started showing "in progress" and when eligibility criteria started showing "in progress"?
i applied on 25 april 2023 and biometrics done on may 2, background check showing in progress since may 3rd and eligiblity criteria "not started".
i have the same question, is it common to see BG check to go in progress and then eligiblity?
it would be nice to share your timeline when did you get to read eligiblity to status "in progress".

We got update from CIC today - on 24th May.
TRV Refused - on the grounds that officer does not believe that the person will leave Canada.

- yes, they are making decisions within 60 days. We applied online on April 6th - final decision on 24th May.
- Tracker is still not updated.
- Background check was completed the day they uploaded biometrics. However, its status is not updated - still shows inprogress. Whats the point of making this tracker if CIC officers are so lazy.
- However the online IRCC portal that we applied from, got updated and has the copy of the letters which we got in the email as well.
how long was the time from we were reviewing your eligibility criteria status until a final decision on your application? was your application for a visitor visa?

My eligibilty is confrm and background is in progress. These details on ircc tracker
your visa number is already issued so your visa application is approved. in some cases background in check is a default message even though they have received their passport with stamped visa. In a week or so, you will receive your passport request.
what are your traveling dates?
