Flying in India is extremely risky. She would risk getting covid. If she is willing to take the risk do not travel without health insurance for a minimum of a million dollars coverage and that covers covid. If she gets sick in the US care will be extremely expensive.

Yeah, definitely wouldn't make her travel before her second vaccine dose is done AND she has US travel insurance.

Yeah, passport submission is the big question mark in the US. Biometrics would be done, but would she have to mail her passport from US to Indian VFS? Or have to travel back to India? Or can passport submission happen in the US itself? Would passport submission get skipped completely, and she'll get a temporary 70-90 day paper TRV instead, because she has PHAC approval? Hoping someone here has tried this and/or knows the answer to this part.

Hi everyone
This question is for those who have applied through PhAc route and got passport request.
I wanted to know that if the PHAc approval expires, can we apply for PHAc again at the time of travel.
I have applied for my parents visit visa and was thinking If I should raise a webform to prioritize on the basis of being immediate family member or apply for Phac and then raise a webform.

Processing has likely been affected by covid. Others have had to wait. Don't believe the courier service is working and there is a travel ban so you have time to wait a bit longer.

How did you send the passport for stamping?
We have to get it stamped within 30 days, correct?
With VFS offices closed, what options do we have?

Hi everyone

This post is to thank Canada Visa forum and all the members here. It has helped me from Day 1 of my Canada PR journey. After a lot of challenges, struggle and patience my parents TRV got approved. But the story doesnt end here. The VFS is now closed in India. So what are their options to submit passport? They had reapplied visa in Nov 2020 as they qualified for travel exemption and it got approved today. But we are not sure what will be the validity of visa.( The invitation letter mentioned stay for 2 months only). Anybody can throw light on it? Thanks in advance!
