My mother-in-law traveling from Delhi to Vancouver/Winnipeg on December 25 via Air Canada.
25 December - AC045 (AIR CANADA) - 05:45 AM from DELHI to VANCOUVER
Visa status: Visitor Visa
Please let me know if anyone traveling on the same flight???
Thanks
Did u submit already itinerary or not yet if yes did u submit direcr flight to canada or do u had any stop in betweenReceived itinerary request today.
PHAC letter states: Validity period - 6 months. Date of issuance 12/16.
Itinerary request states: Departure must occur within 30 days or validity of PHAC approval, whichever is earliest.
1. Does this mean departure needs to be by Jan 15th?
2. Also is validity of 6 months applicable from the date of arrival (1/16) or PHAC issuance date (12/16)
Many congratulations brother. All the best.Got visa approval letter for my mother today. No biometrics needed. So they take around a week after you submit travel itinerary. Visa expiry date is 4/4/2021,which is ok because we can always apply for visa extension. But I don't understand why they put a expiration date on letter ,given the fact that a person can stay upto 6 months without applying for extension. I read someone's post where passport was stamped(at airport on arrival) for 6 months. Also, general rule for TRV is that person can stay upto 6 months.
Thankyou @sb0821 for introducing this new route which I believe helped lot of people here.
The itinerary u provided had any stops from india to canada or it was direct can u please specifically tell the date u submitted the itinerary .Got visa approval letter for my mother today. We booked Air canada direct flight. It is safe for parents plus CIC mentioned the same in the instructions when they asked for itinerary. I submitted on Dec 31st.The itinerary u provided had any stops from india to canada or it was direct can u please specifically tell the date u submitted the itinerary .
Congratulations Ajayparamesh... so everything went without biometrics and passport stamping right ? Do we need any other letter apart from this approval to enter Canada? Are you a PR holder or on Work permit ?Got visa approval today. It's for 3 months.
many many congratulations .. so if visa is granted until 4/4/2021.. I beleive you will not get the option to stay 6 months right. Probably extension need to be applied. But can we apply for extension on a PHAC background approved visa ?Got visa approval letter for my mother today. No biometrics needed. So they take around a week after you submit travel itinerary. Can you list documents you submitted along with your application?
- we need to establish ties with India for parents. So did you submit a bank statement or any other similar proofs ?
