I have applied for visitors visa on 12th of March. Anyone else who applied close by? We can discuss the status and help each other. Also any idea how long does it take?

For Canada Visitor Visa for parents. Both are working. So need Employment letter from their employe including employer grating leave of absence. I made for them. Can you please correct me if need any editing? Thank you.

This letter is to confirm that xyz is employed with us since( date of joining) on a full time basis as a ( job title). His current salary is xxxxxxx INR per month. Mr. Lastname has expressed interest in visiting his daughter and son-in-law who reside in Canada. His leave for Canada visit has been granted from October 1, 2018 to October 22, 2018. He would report for same duty on October 23, 2018.

Just help them out by creating this letter and then they will ask for same from employer
