How long are you planning on visiting?

Hii im planning to stay about 6 months....our marriage anniversary is on may 10th so can I mention like going for marriage anniversary trip...is it a valid reason for getting visiting visa?

Six months is far too long and I would expect you'll be refused. You want to demonstrate that you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. You should be aiming for a trip of 2-3 weeks instead if you want to have a good chance of bieng approved.

You need to learn to be patient if you want free answers on this forum. Sometimes it takes hours or even days for someone to respond for free. If you aren't willing to wait - you need to hire an immigration consultant or lawyer to help you.

jyada laalach buri bala h !!! mind it

go for couple of weeks hopefully u got visa but not sure !!! rare to stamped but hoping best for you :)

I think 2-3 months should also work fine.
Before coming to Canada, I was in Germany on a short term residence permit for 2 years, and my wife used to visit on visitor visa for 90 days period.
90 days is the max allowed limit on Schengen Visa, so obviously we never applied for more time in one attempt. She came twice on Schengen VISA, and on both occasions, VISA was approved within a day.

Considering the principles of Visitor Visas are more or less same everywhere, I think you should be okay applying for 3 months or so.

Hello
I want to apply for TRV.
My husband is a Canadian citizen and we have received or SA. I have got AOR1 with the UCI number for my sponsor. Can I put the same UCI number in my visa form for me as well?? I am the applicant. Should I wait for AOR 2 ?? Please do guide

cover letter is important. it gotto be strong enough to prove a point that u wud return after ur visit. u can show ur parents asset. canadian amount differs on ur visit period. min 8000 CAD is needed.

hii thanks for your reply....and i would like to know can i show land documents on the name of my husband who is in Canada having assets in India as proof of financial ties with my home country?
what all the things should be included in cover letter? please give some brief idea about that.....

thank you in advance.

u can show.. no issues..
include y r u visiting, wen r u visiting, whom r u visiting.. and abt ur ticket itinerary.. and about ur stay.. what u plan to visit in canada. and dat u won't overstay the visa. u can add any other points related to ur personal file. be 100% truthful in everything.. hope this helps!

H Prathyusha,

You must prove your strong ties to India.

Your parents and husband's land and properties will NOT help for your TRV.... because these properties are in their names (not yours).

Also, based on what you have written, you do not have any strong ties as such. Also, do not give your purpose of visit as wanting to celebrate your wedding anniversary + 6 months' visit..... this will lead to a TRV refusal. A visit of 2-3 months will not work either.

Your best chance is to find a new job.... or maybe enroll for a study program.... work for a few months and then apply to visit for 2-3 weeks max. In addition to this, you must also prove other reasons to return to India

All the best :)
