I am planning to bring my parents for 2 months. I am about to apply for Visitor Visa, but have few questions.
1- Is 2 months too much considering current situation?
2- Even if I apply for one month, will the visa be approved for longer duration - until passport expiry?
3- My father is retired and my mom is housewife. how much money should we show for 2 months?
4- Should I apply for my parents or my parents should apply directly ? Will it make any difference in terms of acceptance?

Please request for 2 weeks. If the applicants got multiple entry visa with expiry date the same as passport expiration date, they can travel to Canada multiple times within the visa validity. At each border entry, if no date was stamped by the officer, then they can stay up to 6 months. Show as much funds as they can show. You can be their representative or your parents can apply directly.
