Visitor visa for parents status change regarding

Hello, please let me know your insights.
My parents (from India) applied for a Visitor visa (to attend my convocation, but the convocation date has been passed already).
Applied: Sept. 21, 24
Biometrics updated: Sept. 26, 24
Eligibility started on IRCC's new portal: Dec. 06, 24
Eligibility Completed on the tracker: Dec. 09, 24
On the tracker I don't see any document numbers, the background is still in progress and the overall application status is in progress.
Kindly let me know whether it's heading in a positive or negative direction.

Current processing is 3-4 months so should have an answer soon if eligibility and background checks are completed.

Background still in progress but when I called IRCC they said it’s completed
