I wanna celebrate my 2year son birthday (Canadian born) in Canada on 27th September so I applied for trv in august. Should I apply again or wait for decision ?

Hi all I received this message from IRCC after I submitted my webform 2 weeks ago. What does this mean? Is this a good sign ?
Subject: Request for an Authorization for Exemption from Canadian Travel Restrictions for the Purpose of Family Reunification

We have received your enquiry and can confirm that a review of your application remains in process. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will be in touch with you when a final decision is made or if more information is required. To obtain more information, please fill out the IRCC Web form in order for it to be sent to the responsible Canadian visa office directly.
Due to the ongoing situation, IRCC offices are experiencing processing delays. Rest assured that they are making all the necessary efforts to process requests as soon as possible; however, having to respond to status updates on applications will affect the processing times.
Also note that during the review of your file, you are not considered to hold a valid Travel document. As such, you should not plan or undertake any travel to Canada until you are advised.

I am on temporary visa in Canada and applied for my spouse visit visa in DEC 2020. With the new guideline I want to reapply under the follow reason
- to unite with an immediate family member who is in Canada temporarily,

Yesterday, I mistakenly applied visitor visa through GC Key instead of IRCC portal. Do I need to re-submit via IRCC portal now? It is very clearly mentioned that we should apply via IRCC portal - however, I checked all these instructions after making an application through gckey. What do I do now?
Wow such a fast turnaround on Biometrics. Here in India, it's a three month delay.

We would like to inform you that tourist visa applications are paused since March 2020 and just those applicant who are exempt from travel restrictions can be processed at this time.
The border has been opened for tourism a few days ago, and as you may know, those who are travelling just for tourism and are fully vaccinated and already have the visa can travel as tourists.
We do not know when tourism applications will be finalized because as we said before, there are lot of applications paused since March 2020.
