Hi All,

I reside in Canada (PR holder) along with my wife. We both are earning good with good savings. I dont have father so my mother stays in Indian along with her brothers. I am planning to apply for her visitor visa but she does not have any source of income and investments. My brother (stays in USA) and myself send her funds every month for daily expenses.

If we (me and my wife) provide bank statement along investment details to show we can support her financially, will this be enough? Obviously my mother's bank statement will be shared but will have no investment details.

Please advise.

Regards,
Rohit Trikha

You have to demonstrate some home ties for her to secure a visa.
Thank you for the reply. Yes, I agree with you. Can mentioning my mother as person managing my brother's property will suffice home ties? Besides she has been to USA several times and returned back on time, which as well is part of travel history.

This should be good

The new IRCC portal doesn't ask for any document mentioning home ties and I didn't upload. I have similar case as that of OP (father passed away, applied TRV for mom who has valid B2 and visited USA multiple times and returned on time). How are you guys uploading references to home ties? via webform?
