Hello: My wife (American Citizen) on a visitor visa to Canada(Valid upto 15th June) needs to apply for visa extension. The online form requires date of previous visit (which happened 11 years before). We cannot proceed to next question in online form because she don't remember the exact date of her previous visit. Requesting "Visitor Record" from CIC will take 2-6 months. What's the way out? How can she apply without knowing the exact date of her previous visit which happened 11 years ago? Thanking you in anticipation.

I would try to remember the date, or close to it. Otherwise I think you would have to cancel the online application and do it paperwise.

If you know it and can enter it in the online form, will that suffice as they never stamp my passport ( though maybe they will this time as I plan on staying six months and applying for an extension). They just enter my number into the computer.
