Hi I’m a permanent resident in Canada . My mom has visitor visa for USA and Canada and she entered Canada via Windsor border by road on Jan 29,2019.
The border security officer did not enter the date of entry on her passport . We had to visit a relative in newyork and did that by road on July 21. On the way back to entering Canada , the border officer told she has visitor visa validity for 6 months ie until July 29.
As I’m having a hand injury my mom wish to stay here for few more months .
Can I still apply online for visitor visa extension?
Or does she have to go to home country and come back?
How long she should stay in home county?
Would they reject her entry if she come back from home country in 2 weeks ?

Just apply for a visitor extension before July 29 so this week as soon as possible and she can stay until a decision is made. The CBSA officer at the border was probably reminding her of her current authorised stay given time nearly up.

Not necessarily a good idea to leave for home country and try coming back after 2 weeks having already stayed for 6 months given generally advised to stay away for equal time. No way to predict that but that is generally the advice and although probably not denied entry possible only gets a few weeks no way to predict.
