Visitor Visa Extension - Is this good enough?

Are the following documents good enough to send along with my husband's application to extend his stay in Canada:

-a copy of our receipt from our outland PR application -- should we send anything else along to show that we applied for PR or is the receipt good enough?
-A letter saying that I will support him during his stay, as well as a letter from my employer saying how much I make
-A photocopy of our marriage certificate

Anything else that you guys recommend we send along? Is it necessary to show a bank statement? or is a letter of employment good enough?

I sent a bank statement with my wife's application. A return ticket might be a good idea.

If you have sponsor approval already, include the letter or email; if not, the receipt is fine. If there is a good balance in the bank account, include a statement. I would also recommend including a few of your payslips as well, just to back up the employer letter.

He should ask for a longer extension, depending on how long the processing time for the PR app is. The longest extension I've seen on these forums was 14 months. Lots of people that have applied for PR ask for and are given a year.
