Visitor Visa Applied Aug 2021 | Old IRCC Portal |Biometrics Sep 2021

Hi,
I submitted Visitor Visa application for my parents on Aug 24th and they gave their Bio metrics on Sep 24th. I applied through the Old IRCC portal using GCkey,
No response or updates yet !

Should I re-apply through the new portal?
Anyone in the same situation?

Please let me know

I have applied Visitor visa for my parents in July with old IRCC portal and then on 11th November I have replied with new IRCC portal, but there is no any response or any update, both application are still as it is.

Lot of people from Oct and Nov are stuck. But there seems to be daily progress. Hopefully youwill hear soon

I’m currently due anytime and raised so many web forms MP updates nothing yet ..

Webforms MP note calling IRCC etc are all a joke. In current times, One just needs luck to get visa. Sadly

the fact that most processing times are 625 days is stressing.

Honestly those times hardly matter.

I see Visitor visas getting approved in 3-4 days in some cases while cases are waiting for over 3 months on the new portal - which is way against the posted 14-30 days window.

Some Visa offices are processing decisions in as quick as 2 days. So it depends on the visa office handling your file + LUCK

Applied for my parents visitor visa.

Timeline:

1st Application submitted: 24th Aug 2021 (using GCKey)
Biometrics updated: 6th October 2021
2nd Application submitted: 12th Dec 2021 (using New IRCC Portal)

No response at all. both applications are as it is.

Application submitted Aug 24th and Biometrics submitted on Sept 24th via GCkey old portal.

Why did they withdraw?
Should i apply through new portal?

I applied new application thru new portal on Nov 2021 so it’s seen when they withdraw old application probably they started looking at new one
Yea I think you should apply new application from new portal especially after thr sept announcement
