Visitor Visa application

Need Suggestion,
My father has applied for visitor visa to visit us for my daughter's second birthday and enjoy summer with us. I am PR in Canada(2020). In his invitation letter i do mention that he is staying with us and i'm providing accommodation and grocery to him. and he wants to come to celebrate my daughter's second birthday nad forget to mention he has to return back home as he has house and his unmarried son their.

My question
Is it necessary to mention his return reason. Will it make nay reason of rejection?
we have provided his funds(CA report, Pension statement, tax reports, bank statements and other funds) sidewise mention i'm going to provide him accommodation. is it correct way?

Note: My father has one rejection when he apply in nov 2019 for visitor visa but i was not here at that time.

You should ideally show some ties to his home country such as property ownership.

Make sure you mention his previous refusal in this application.

yeah i did mention previous UCI number and reason of rejection. and submitted CA report which mention his property and other assets in back country. so hopefully back home 6ties up cover in CA report.
