Hello all I applied for a visitor's visa application for my mother from Canada in July 2022, we haven't received anything yet. Anyone on the same boat?

Hi, I’m in the same boat. I applied for my mum 27th July 2022 but haven’t heard anything back. I know her application is being processed in Nairobi but her eligibility hasn’t even started yet, everything seems so slow unfortunately.

Am experiencing the same issue. I applied online for canada visitor visa on 21st March, 2022,, my biometrics was taken on 28th March ,2022, over a year now no response. What can I do

Have they started reviewing your eligibility or it’s still in progress?

It says: “We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.”

That’s a good step. Just chill for like a month or so you’ll get bvl

hi everyone. would be nice to see if every application out of Nigeria are being treated the same. "something" tells me all applicants with delayed processing on Eligibility and Background checks are going to be getting responses in the nearest weeks to come. stay positive.

Same here too, am positive and feels that in few weeks time, final decision will start rolling in for all 2022 visitor visa applicants. But this their strike, let's pray it ends soonest

Eligibility review started March 17
Background check in processing.
I impatiently waiting for final decision

my application received on April 11th, 2022.
bio completed/uploaded April 20th, 2022.
almost immediately after; Eligibility and Background review began.
until now, no decision.
i have been on with them(ircc) via the webform. ever used it?

Did you receive any answer? In the main application page, Eligibility shows in progress since I applied on 28 June 2022. But in the tracker, it shows completed. Background check now shows in progress in the tracker. I wonder why arent these two in sync. Got the BVL letter an hour ago.
