Hi there,

I have already started sponsoring my wife to come to Canada in December and the application is in process. I am now trying to get a visitor visa for her and her mother to visit me. In the checklist, I see that they need marriage certificate. Do I need to have it translated from Arabic to English? It would be going to Abu Dhabi and I have already submitted a translated version when I submitted the sponsorship application. IF it's required, can I just reference it?

Do I also need the marriage certificate of her mother and translated too?

Thank you

Any document in Arabic must be translated to English and submitted for every application no matter where the visa office is. You need to submit both doucments (english and arabic)
