Visitor app after approved open work permit

Hi there!
we applied for visitor permit while waiting for open work permit (applied with sponsorship PR) as we weren't sure if we were getting OWP before visitor status expired. now we have OWP received in the mail and visitor application still in progress. Can we just leave it or should we contact IRCC to withdraw the application? we are just worried to contact IRCC as we don't want them to think we're withdrawing from PR haha.. just being extra careful here. thank you!!!

Withdraw the visitor app. If it hasn't started processing, you will get the refund. Not sure why you would think IRCC would take that as a request to withdraw sponsorship.
