My finacée and I are Indian citizens. My finacée is currently a permanent resident who landed in March 2020. We are same-sex couples and in India same-sex marriage is not legally recognized. I want to visit her and get married in Canada so that I can come back and apply for spouse sponsorship visa.
1. Can I give the purpose of the visit to get married?
2. If so, then can I mention that I will go back to India and apply for spouse visa?
2. If not should I give it as to visit her and spend time?
4. She landed recently and working as part-time. Do mentioning it raise any red flag regarding the expense? I can sponsor my expenses and have financial proofs.
5. Is there any effect on visa approval due to the pandemic situation?
Appreciate your time and suggestions.
Thanks.
