Hi,

My parents and sister will be applying for a visit visa in Pakistan. I am sending all invitation documentation.

My sister is disabled thus she cannot write (signature). But of course signature is required. Can the principal applicant (my father) sign the application on her behalf. My sister is older than 18 but mentally disabled.

Thanks

no.. nobody can sign on behalf of person without cic legal authority
most of people who are unable to sign they can use thumb print ... then print name beside

i am not sure if cic allow this ....just call helpline

Does your father have legal custody of her? Is he considered her power of attorney or legal guardian? If yes, then he can sign for her. He will need to include translated copies of his POA or whatever other legal documentation he has proving he has legal custody of her.
