Hi! I would really like to get some help from anyone in this site. I have been reading and getting so many information here since November 2015 but this is my first attempt to register and seek help... Please bear with me. Thank you )))))
I have applied for a visit visa online and was refused yesterday. Reason for refusal are as follows:
- TRAVEL HISTORY
- FAMILY TIES IN CA AND PHIL
- CURRENT EMPLOYMENT SITUATION
- PERSONAL ASSETS AND FINANCIAL STATUS
Here are the details of my application and personal status...
-I am a Filipina, 27yo, mother of 3 (8yo, 6yo and 8mos), applying TRV for me and baby only, older kids are in school
-I have been unemployed since June 2015, I am a full-time mom, also taking care of my 85yo grandmother, and managing my parents' assets and liabilities (my father is currently assigned in China) and we receive monthly allowance from them, instead of salary
-I have my own house and car, but both are not named after me since I am still married with my ex-husband (avoiding property sharing for annulment in the future)
-I am in a conjugal relationship with my partner for more than 3 years now, he left for Canada last Sept 10,2015 as a PR, my 3rd child is his, and they haven't met yet, which is why we are planning to visit him to celebrate their birthdays on Oct 7 and 9, respectively, plus my birthday on Nov and spending Christmas altogether
-He is a full time employee, with good salary, living with his sister and her family
-His sister also attached a letter of acknowledgement to support any incidental expenses and will accommodate our entire stay
IN THE APPLICATION:
-He provided an INVITATION LETTER indicating all necessary info such as purpose of visit, length of stay, financial support during our stay, etc.. bank certificate, employment certificate, pay stubs, IDs, etc..
-Another letter for "PROOF OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES" backed with remittance slips he sent me and his employment details, tax returns etc
-For "PROOF OF MEANS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT" I sent my dad's letter of explanation regarding my status, my earnings from him, he also mentioned buying the tickets as a present for us and augmented my savings, provided his and my bank certificate and assured all initial expenses for our vacation
-For "PROOF OF TRAVEL" I sent the confirmed flight details of our trip (Sept 29 - Dec 26, 2016)
-For "PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP" I sent the sworn Affidavit I had for all my legal and personal information (notarized) with complete details of our relationship and pictures, too
-Also included a letter of explanation for myself under the optional part of the application, where I have included the flight itinerary I have reserved for my 2nd child's 7th birthday on December 27, 2016 (this, I supposed, would be enough reason for them to consider that we do not plan to stay longer than the dates we've declared because we genuinely wish to be back for her birthday)
-All forms were completed and all documents needed were provided
MY QUESTIONS NOW...
(Aside from wondering why )
1. Can I use domestic trips I've had for the last 5 years? I believe I have at least 10 but they are only within Philippines.
2. I used to have a US Visa and stayed there for more than a year but that was like in year 2001 and the visa expired in 2005. Can I also use that for the Travel History?
3.How can I strengthen my ties here in the Phil? Is it useful to have any notarized declarations from family members like my grandmother, or a reliable friend? I was also planning to make another affidavit explaining all their concerns and have it notarized. Are they of any help??
4. Is it better to minimize the duration of our stay? Although they did not cross out the box for it, we were wondering maybe the money I had in the bank (around Php310,000) and my partner's (around 9,000CAD) is not enough to cover our entire stay. Should we lessen the duration? Or provide more money?
5. Can I declare my assets even if they are under my father's name? Have a notarized explanation maybe?
6. Someone told me to apply for a job, too, so I can provide any employment details, but isn't that too obvious?! I'm pretty sure they have a history of my refusal in their system and see all details I have and have not provided, don't they??
7. Also, someone suggested that I go out of the country just so my passport would have a stamp... Would that be helpful?
****** At this point I would like to say thank you already for having the time to read my post. I find it too much to ask, but I am really left with nothing. Professional help is just out of the budget so I'm taking my chances here. Please feel free to give me insights. Hoping for quick responses. THANKS! :-*
