hi, i'm hoping someone can help me with my uncles visitors visa. He applied online. It was refused for the second time this morning for the exact same two reasons: purpose of visit and personal assets and financial status.

- He was planning on traveling with his wife and granddaughter to Canada in June 2020 for our wedding for two weeks. we included copy of our wedding invitation and copy of contract with the venue.
- His kid and daughter in law are staying back in china. They signed a consent letter allowing their daughter to travel with her grandparents
- He has a job in China - provided letter of employment.
- provided bank statements/investments showing money in his account and salary being deposited. (over
- provided proof of home ownership
- provided doctors note from his fathers doctor from his most recent hospitalization that his dad is sick and needs care
- they have traveled to new Zealand, Australia, Singapore
- i really felt he addressed IRCC's concerns regarding his purpose of travel & financial

I really feel helpless here and don't understand why they would decline him. can someone please help wtih next steps.

thanks

What was the balance in $cad in the bank statements submitted? If understand you very well, uncle (applicant is sick and need care) and that's going to be in Canada during the wedding ceremony? Did uncle buy a visitor travel medical insurance? I do understand they've travel to countries similar to Canada, but did they travelled with their granddaughter to those countries? What's uncle's wife doing, did she also has a job to demonstrate additional ties to China?

Sorry no i should have been clearer. My uncle's father, my grandfather is sick and requires care. we submitted documentation (a doctors note) from his most recent hospital stay. He is paralyzed on one side of his body. bank statements showed 40K canadian in a chequing account and then another 100,000 CAD in a certificate of deposit (this is in his wife's name) we also showed home ownership documents.

I was thinking maybe their granddaughter is the problem?? what are your thoughts? Their granddaughter is 6, she did not travel with her grandparents to Australia. However their granddaughter has traveled to paris/europe/austrlian with her parents but not with her grandparents. It just doesn't make sense. Obviously they are going to return with their granddaughter, the parents (my uncles son and daughter in law) are staying in China

The granddaughter has no significant reason of accompanying her grandparents as a minor, moreover, she may not fully understand the purpose of the visit ( 6 years may need parental care ). The application is complicated and raise concern and doubts as to it genuineness. Uncle coming for wedding ceremony for 2 weeks and to take care of an elderly person (grandfather). How old is uncle?

Fair enough for the granddaughter, they just thought it would be nice to bring her. If they re-apply should they simply exclude her from the application?

In terms of my uncle looking after my grandfather. They are not the primary caregivers for him but they do help out which is what we said on the application. (our exact words were my aunt and uncle are part of a team that helps look after my grandfather, he has a personal support worker that baths and feeds him etc.) My uncle has a full time job, my aunt is retired. my uncle is 57 and my aunt is 60. Apart from coming for the wedding they were also planning on doing a bus trip through ottawa, nigara falls, quebec city and montreal during the second week they are here. We included a copy of the itinerary they were completing (should i just be stating that they are going to hang out with me for 2 weeks and enjoy the wedding)

It's very frustrating because they want ties to their home country which his father, his kid staying behind, his job, house etc. Now i'm hearing well the application is sketchy because they are leaving for two weeks and who will take care of grandpa.
