visit visa online - next steps

Hi,

I have applied for visit visa for my parents online, and i recently got an update that they are requested to submit the passports. My parents are India. When I check their website on where I can submit the passports, I can only see VAC centers in India (eg: Bangalore, Chennai etc). There is no information on where the passports can be sent (mailed) to. Can anyone please let me know, if you have to go in person to the VAC centers to submit the passport? Or, is there an address to mail the passport? Chennai and Bangalore is still far for my parents to go.

Hi,

Passports cannot be mailed to a CVAC.... if your parents are in Kerala then they can submit their passports, in person, at the Bangalore or Chennai VACs + pay the service fees to VFS + collect the processed passports personally, in maybe a week or so.... or opt to have the processed passports couriered to Kerala.

The other option is to appoint a representative to submit the passports to the VAC, if your parents cannot travel to Chennai/Bangalore
