Hi all,
I am about to apply for a visit visa for my wife and wanted your advice.
This is the situation: I am from India. I have a step-daughter from a previous marriage, who lives with us after her mother passed away and biological father isn't in touch. She got a seat in University of British Columbia and has applied for a student visa, which we are expecting should come before 10th August. I already have a 10 year business visa to Canada, valid upto 2022. We will be leaving to Canada on 22nd August and would love to take along my wife (I remarried) with us.
I would love to get her a 10 year visa so it wouldn't be a hassle going between India to Canada while our daughter studies there.
My questions is: Should she write in her covering letter that she is coming to Canada for 3 weeks to help her step-daughter settle in her new home? or just that I am going on a business trip and she is just coming along with me?
Which would be better?
thanks,
Raaj
