Hi All,

I applied two months back super visa for my mother-in-law online and it was rejected with not enough ties in home town. That was because i forgot to add an affidivat from mother-in-law end.

Now i reapplied for TRV with single entry through vfs with affidivat, doctor note for her assistance with my wife preganancy , canadian based health insurance for 3 months and itenary for to and fro and funds in Indian account and funds in our candian account. They recieved the application on Tuesday morning and Thursday evening (04-Dec-2013) they updated status as dispatched passport in Blue Dart. DOes this mean they approved it ?
We sent her passport along with the application.

Thanks

Thanks a lot ...Will keep you posted. I think i should wait for an other 48 Hours before i know the result. Provided she get her passport by Saturday otherwise need to extend suspense until monday i guess.

Is this normal to get their positive decision in 3 days ?
which visa office? did u show enough ties this time? think they will approve it, since she will be going to assist with the pregnancy. Best of luck.

same thing happened with me. My mother in law's passport was submitted on Dec-03 and today it shows that passport has been dispatched from VFS. I am hoping for the best.

By the way when are you planning to bring your mother in law to Canada? and to which city?

Please keep me posted.

She is going to start as early as possible. She might start any time between 10th and 20th. She will fly from Hyderabad. Please let me know if your mother-in-law going to start same time and same city. May be we can plan accordingly.

Thanks

Hi Toronto30,

I applied her TRV visa in Delhi Consulate. Well coming to ties, they don't have any property on their name in India. But below are the list of documents submitted to support her visit.

Affidavit from her indicating she has to come back to arrange younger daughter marriage and support her in-laws aged 70 who are dependent completely on her (Notarized)
Bank statement from India
My uncle employment letter
my sister-in-law employment letter

From my side

My employment letter
my wife employment letter
both pay stubs
notarized invitation letter
bank statement
doctor note for my wife
Canadian Health Insurance for three months
To and Fro Itenary
Birth certificates
Marriage certificate
copy of PR Cards
Statutory declaration notarized
No notice of Assessment.

Thanks,

We are also planning to bring her here as early as possible. Our destination is Toronto. But do you normally get direct Int'l flight from Hyderabad or is it going to be from Mumbai?

Yes.. Emirates (Hyd - Dubai and Dubai to Toronto). Update me about visa once she recieve passport.

Thanks

Sure..I am going to talk to them tonight and will probably come to know. Let me see if I can arrange for Hyd flight. For me Mumbai is a bit convenient option. I have sent you PM for contact details, please check!

Good news ... My mother-in-law got a visa for six months single entry. Thanks for everyone sharing their input and valuable thoughts.

I too have got the visitor visa for mother in law. Great site and great people around to help us out :)

Would like to share that application was submitted on Dec-04 and passport dispatched on Dec05. Superquick processing :)

Thanks everyone!

I'm planning to invite my mother in law as well who is currently residing in the Philippines. My wife is under EI since August this year. She's about to give birth on February.

My question is, can we get a health insurance for her while she's staying here in Canada? How? And how much it will cost? Thank you
