Nope. I was under the same impression but they are processing GCKey as well. Just got my parents visa from GCKey last week.
I am applying for TRV with my parents for tourism purpose and the intended stay would be of 2 weeks. All of us have US B1/B2 visa. I have the following queries, and the more I talk to people about these, I am getting more confused... Any help would be god sent.
Do we need to show the return flight tickets?
Do we need to show hotel bookings? (No immediate family in Canada)
I am hoping that 9,000 CAD in liquid cash in bank account and 18,000 CAD as FD is sufficient as poof of fund, if not please let me know....

Applied for my in-laws from Pakistan (outside Canada) - me and my wife became the sponsors. (we both are PR)

Eligibility Started from February 1st week (not sure exactly when)
PPR for mother in law March 10
PPR for father in law - not yet (hoping to get soon as all the documents i applied were combined eg combined bank statements with running balance of CAD25K for 4 months)
I did not attach my bank statements but attached our PR cards, Employment letter/salary certificate, utility bills etc
Hope will get father in law's visa soon..

Hello, Can my wife, who is applyiing for visitor visa, show my bank accounts as proof of funds ?
no need if yes its good main funds to be shown for the sponsoring person
Hi guys I am applying for my parent's visit visa but there is no option/separate tab for financial documents. Not sure where to upload them. Should I include them in invitation letter itself? Or maybe in "other documents" in optional documents? I chose myself as sponsor. Apologies for the low quality image, was capturing details on video. Thanks

I have employment verification letter, 2 payslips but no bank statement yet but an official letter from Canadian Bank about my financial standing and my Indian bank statement of 3 month (has around 20,000 CAD cash). My parents have around 16,000 CAD of savings, father has pension every month and house in India at 220,000 CAD. They have valid US B1/B2 (As it is question in Canada application) and have visited US 3 times for few weeks in last 5 years. Where does my application stand, some people said Canada visit visa is erratic.

What time you got the PPR update in the portal and in the mail? Is it during India day time / Canada day time?
I got a refusal letter twice for my MIL tourist visa. First time applied in Oct 2021 and got refusal in Feb 2022. 3 Reason for refusal were you won't leave canada based on purpose of travel, ties to Canada and ties to home country.
I applied again and got refusal on Mar 11 stating she wouldn't return based on 1 Reason purpose of travel.
I am currently pregnant and we used that as well as reunite with family after 3 yrs as Reason of travel. She was granted 10 yr visa in 2018 bt the passport was expired so we are applying again and she has visited Canada before as well
Could someone please help with the purpose of travel used on an approved application?

Order GCMS notes. Don’t reapply until you have the notes because she has two quick refusals. How long was the visit? Does she have family in home country/job/property/investments? If you are pregnant, what did you say because you asking her to visit may have come across as work/help while you are pregnant.
I was thinking of ordering GCMS notes as well. For pregnancy I just stated that she will be helping with the new born , also attend her grandson's birthday in May and meet her sons as it has been 3 yrs since she had met them. She has a job back home and property and investments as well. All of which was given as documents.
I guess we will wait for my delivery and provide the birth certificate and give the reason of just reuniting with family instead of help with newborn.
