Does anyone have an update on March Applications? I applied for my parent's Visa and Biometric in last week of March. No updates yet. Anyone in a similar situation?

Yes....but it depend on countries and the number of app they received. If u submitted all the required document then all u have to do is to wait. Not much can be done....even webform doesnt help that much

Hello guys, I have a question and hope you experienced guy can answer me:

I am trying to apply for supervisa for my parents, but on the official website, the new IRCC portal link does not show up, I only have the
GCKey account to apply. Is this normal? why the new IRCC portal is not mentioned in the official website (how to apply) page anymore?

You can only apply via GCKEY for the Super Visa. new IRCC portal is not for this application.

They need to fly to the US in the next couple of days due to some emergency.
Would it be possible if they can give a Passport for stamping to the Canadian embassy in the US if a visa is approved?

hope someone can clarify me this question I have.
I obtained a PR, and now my sister (plus husband and daughter) wants to come to visit.
should they apply for FAMILY REUNION, OR VISIT
The difference will be between choosing the option
*To visit other family who are not listed above or friends for less than 6 months
or to tourism.
I will write them a letter of invitation either way. I do not want to deny I am a PR and they are coming to visit me, but they want the visa to be able to travel to other parts of Canada eventually.

Hi All, Looking for immediate help towards biometrics in the new portal for my parents visitor visa application.

Background: My parents PR application is in-progress from 2019. Received their biometrics request in Dec 2021 which was completed and the same is reflecting in the old (GC key system) and the new portal (valid from Dec 2021 to Dec 2031).
Since the PR application has no update since Dec 2021 and parents have to travel soon, I applied for their Visitor Visa on the new portal in Jun 8 2022.

Question: For my Father, I have received biometrics request letter in the new portal even though his current biometrics ( valid till Dec 2031) is reflecting in the new portal application. What shall I do? I submitted a webform few days back informing then & seeking clarification but no response till now.

Shall I just ignore the biometrics request letter for the visitor visa OR pay the fees as mentioned in the letter and go for fresh biometrics for him?

Note:
1. For my mother, i did not receive any biometrics request letter for visitor visa but only for my father. (since both of their PR biometrics are reflecting in both the portals).
2. My father's passport was renewed in between. i.e. PR application biometrics completed (Dec 2021) --> Passport renewed (Jan 2022) --> Visitor Visa-new portal biometrics request letter (Jun 2022). Are the biometrics linked to the passport?

Can someone please help as I need to decide by end of day if I have to pay for new biometrics request or not (i.e. 10 days given in the letter which is due to today)

I need guidance for the below doubts:
1. My niece is planning to visit me in the Summer for one month. she is working and 28 years old. shall I provide a letter of invitation? as someone said I could give an invitation only to my siblings and parents? if Yes, do I need to prove my relationship with her??
2. for the funds; her father is sponsoring her trip as she does not have much savings. but she has been working since 2020. is it ok to submit her account and her father's bank statement? what are the documents required by her father? or he can deposit funds in her account but then those would be recent really confused.
please guide.
