yeah thats was the only reason for rejection.

As per IRCC Son staying in Home country is not a reason for Tie- up or going back to home country.
Yes, Funds (Deposit+ saving bank) and property , Job , Pension letter (If any) show tie up and Finance expense .
May be you need to show more Liquid asset 10 K as per IRCC not enough to sponsor their Flight ticket and expense , needed for their stay in Canada

Another option is you can apply for Super Visa , in this case IRCC look for LICO , and if you have enough earning in Canada as per your family composition, Parents Fund will not impact , Only Case worker will look for your Canada INCOME pass LICO or not. and Parents reason to return back to home country

I showed 5k CAD for my mum who is a senior citizen but my aunt will support her financially when she arrive...havent got any update since I applied. Is my application likely to be deny? No property whatsoever in her home country.

Applied for visitor visa for my parents in India. Application submitted on Jan 22, biometrics done on Jan 26. Got the original passport request today. However wanted to know what are the next steps for submitting the passports?

1) Can these be submitted in person at VFS?
2) Will i receive any email with the process because I havent
3) Will both mom & dad require separate packages or same package to send out.

1) Can these be submitted in person at VFS? Yes I think you can submit in person now , Better call VFS once and confirm before going VFS, because of COVID they was asking and prefer via Courier (Bluedart they have tie-up)
2) Will i receive any email with the process because I havent Not Sure what is your Question , but once VFS receive passport and send it to Visa stamping , receive it back all these steps you can track online
3) Will both mom & dad require separate packages or same package to send out., Same Question I had , some one in group who sent Passport via Courier service , suggest it need to be in separate packet
4) Is there any fees applicable?

Too low. You need double that to include airfare. Is your spouse in Canada? If so that that may be reason for rejection too.

I provided bank statements showing a balance of CAD 13K but in the form where they ask 'available funds for your stay', I wrote CAD 3k assuming they asked how much I have budgeted for my time (10 days) while Im there - excluding airfare. This was an application for visitor visa for myself. Do you think this will be disadvantage?

- Request for Biometrics : April 22nd 2022
- Gave Biometrics : April 26th 2022
- Awaiting for next steps in processing.

What's the current timeline for TRV applications for visitors ?

I submitted visitor visa application for my Parents today. Made father as principal application and mother as dependent. After few hours of submission, I received the biometric collection letter for my Father but not for my Mother.
Anything happen like this to someone else? What can be the reason of not receiving biometric letter for my mom?

Biometrics: March 4th, 2022
Country: Albania
Type: Visitor Visa

Official processing times for a visitor visa from my country is 50 days, so today I am on my 54th day thats why I sent the webform.

I will let you know if anything changes in my application.

And I got this response

Please be informed that currently we are dealing with high volume of applications and other urgent priorities. Your application processing time might be longer than usual.

However, your application is already in assessment process by the officer, kindly wait for the finalization step.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

anyone know what the finalization step are?are they incoming ppr?

When did you sent that ?

Usually the finalization step is when they make a decision for you, plus the officer has already your application in hand.

Sorry, I meant to say 25 April :’) , I’m from Indonesia, when I applied it was 14 days then during processing 16 days now it increase to 29 days
