Visit Visa Application (Using the new IRCC Portal)

I am facing this issue:

My mother submitted her Canada visitor visa application through new IRCC Portal on 26-Nov-2021 and gave her biometrics on 22-Dec-2021. But whenever we log in to the portal, the system displays "Your fingerprints have not been received". What's even more weird is that on the top right corner under "Applicant information", her biometrics details are mentioned (Biometrics number, Date of biometrics enrolment, and Expiry date).

Please advise what to do.

Also, I wanted to attach screenshots here but couldn't. Can someone please tell me how to share screenshots via this forum? I tried many ways but couldn't figure it out. There is an "Insert Image" option but that asks for a URL, whereas my image is saved on my desktop. Couldn't figure out how to upload it.

Thanks

***********NEED URGENT INPUT NEEDED****************

Hi All,

My parents visitor visa application was submitted Jan17. Yesterday I noticed i checked the wrong option. I put "to visit dependent child in Canada" instead of non-dependent. Should I withdraw and reapply? Any suggestions or anyone who made the same mistake?
I just realized, I did the same mistake in my application for my parents. Any guidance please...what to do now...??

Their Biometrics already have been done as a part of this application
Waiting on further steps

I wish I knew.
We have three options:
1- do nothing and hope officer is gonna he OK
2- submit request to change with info through webform (not sure if this will delay the application or even get accepted)
3- withdraw and reapply!
I am leaning on option 2.

Hi,

I tried everything possible but still got this message below here. How did you resolve it? Please share! I appreciate it.

"Error: Give details of all your employment and activities since the age of 18. - You're missing details since the age of 18. Review your entries and make sure you included something for all times periods since the age of 18. Do not include any entries that you already put for post-secondary education or military/police force (if that was your only occupation at that time).
If you were unemployed, incarcerated, or retired since the age of 18, select that option from the menu and tell us for how long.
If you were a student at a secondary school, select unemployed.
You can't save or continue to the next questions until you include these details."

Thanks!
Thao

Hi It sounds like IRCC is the right place to apply for a visitor center. I'm doing the same thing but keep running into this error below. I wonder If you have some tips for me? I tried everything to cover all the periods since the age of 18. I just dont understand what I got wrong. Thank you!

Congratulations, did you also upload photo on the new portal? I am stuck as no where I can find it. Any input how you did? Thanks

Hi,
I am PR since 2018,came back to India after landing in Canada. Was planning to immigrate by 2020 but Covid happened flights were closed and I conceived in 2020 and gave birth in June 21.I want to immigrate back to Canada but I want my mother to come along to help with small baby. What option to select for VV application for baby and my mother since I am currently not in Canada, can I give invite letter?
It doesn’t look like you meet your RO which can be an issue when it comes to getting a TRV. You also can’t sponsor your husband until you are compliant with your RO. Unfortunately your mother isn’t guaranteed a TRV so I would be making plans in case she can not accompany you to Canada.
