+1 from another unlucky soul. The pace at which some people are getting visas is baffling to say the least.Hmm! I’ll wait this week out and decide. If luck is what is at play here then clearly i don't have it
Have you heard anything? I know someone who applied for Parents on Oct 3 and stuck since thenI don't know why there is no update for the Oct 6th submitted applications. I see a lot of people got PPR's before and after Oct 6th. . Anybody who submitted the applications on Oct 6th any update?
+1 here.. True.. Not sure and what logic behind parents trv getting approved soon but not kids/newborn TRV since Nov2021.. Hope it will be approved this week. Fingers crossed..+1 from another unlucky soul. The pace at which some people are getting visas is baffling to say the least.
Not so fast, my friend. November giving you a bro hug there.Yes nov/dec/Jan applications are getting approved fast. So frustrating.
I think it is better to consult an immigration lawyer for this.Hello Everyone:
Confused about re-applying visitor visa for my spouse again. I am a Canadian citizen.
Confusion:
Sep20,2021 - got married in India
Oct18,2021 - applied vv to invite spouse on new portal, not knowing about pregnancy
Nov03,2021 - wife did a pregnancy test, and confirmed positive pregnancy. Didn't update IRCC. Should we have told IRCC about pregnancy?
Jan22,2022 - received refusal on VV.
Jan26,2022 - applied spousal PR online (pregnancy disclosed)
Feb2022 - So I am worried now, that if we re-apply for vv, could they say that we misrepresented, or concealed intent to give birth ; on the first application.
From IRCC website: Therefore, in some cases, the intentional concealment of intent to give birth in Canada may lead to an examination of admissibility under section 40 of the IRPA.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/visitors/persons-wishing-enter-canada-purpose-giving-birth.html
For one thing, this is not birth tourism, as child will be a Canadian citizen upon birth anyways.
Thanks in advance for your responses.
Why would there be an option of “visiting immediate family member who is on TRV” I disagree as well but pending applications are adding to anxietyHi I am worried I applied for my parents vistor visa on dec 15 2021 biometric done on jan 10 2022 after that no update. Today I called mp office but they if you applied while you are on work permit then it will rejected most likely today I got my ecopr so kind of worried is anyone got vistor visa approved while you are on work permit

No , birth certificates are not required. Not much difference, just fill whatever asked. And I did not show strong ties, I just wrote a letter to IRCC and assured them that My parents will leave Canada after they have served the purpose of their visit. Thats all.My spouse got her TRV.
planning to apply for parents now. Can you please help me with few things, if you don't mind?
1. Do we need to submit their birth certificate?
2. If yes, in case it's not in English and there is no possibility of getting in English, any alternative doc?
3. I submitted TRV of wife myself, so is there any difference between in that app and app for parents ?
4. Parents are retired now so what did you show for strong ties?
5. Any other tip for parents' TRV ?
Thank you for your help.

Last question - which one should be preferred - visitor visa or super visa for parents ?Yesss
Depends upon your financial situation. If you have good one, go for Supervisa, if you are in the middle go for visitor visaLast question - which one should be preferred - visitor visa or super visa for parents ?
