Visit visa application employment section HELP!

I am currently filling out the application for visitor visa and im stuck at a point where it says Employment details (FROM - TO). I am currently employed and working. I have fed in the date of joining but in the second column where it says (TO) i am trying to put in (TO DATE) it does not except!! what do i do ...

By putting current date won’t it make it look that today’s my last working day and I no longer work at the organisation. Kind of confusing!

The system will NOT accept any future date, not even tomorrow's date

Hello, I've come to find that the "TO" date in the first job space can be left blank beacuse it doesn't have an asterisc (is not obligatory to fill out a date in this field, you can still validate), then I could explain in the client information (explanation letter) that this date is left blank because I'm still working. Is this ok?
